Antigua Nov. 2004.- Disappointing and not cheap. It rained some- the whole Caribbean was wet. Hotel Royal Antiguan at Deep Bay was not up to much, and needed some work. Staff great. Not enough variety in food, some long waits. New T & T owners to fix in April !! Beach made up for that. Goats all around but only had the curry once. Mongoose is a pest, so no slithery reptiles. Duty-free quays have some good deals- the rest seemed expensive. Not a lot to see after St. Johns and Nelson's Dockyard. Round-island trip in motorised catamaran is tops- see poor people on yacht and beach who can't afford swimwear.
